  3. I really don't think that the hands that built America should be listed as a snippet.. Edge plays it on a different guitar to bullet and pride I swear

Yes, and with a distinctive piano and totally separated from previous and next songs. I've been rooting since Vancouver for it to be added as a proper song on its own, not as a snippet.
  5. Wouldn't it be awesome if U2 went further with the meerkat "making the connection between the band and audience" thing and let the fans vote on a few songs to be tried out? Man that would be cool...Even just one song for the e-stage, and they only play them once. So like Acrobat can only be tried once (because we know fans would vote on it night after night) and if the band wants to keep it in the set they can.

    DAMN that'd be awesome.

Also those Real Thing visuals are way better than the stupid face-black hole thing they have now.

Except it's not the full song.
  7. And? They have played abbreviated versions of many songs previously (Wake Up Dead Man, Unchained Melody, Dancing Queen spring to mind) which were marked as full songs even while being shorter than this tour's Hands That Built America snippet or being played as medleys with the previous song.

    Totally agree on this

I would totally put some of my TMTOMH in helping to rebrand the whole snippets thing. I think they should be divided in:

    1. Short version (Hands, M&CR)
    2. Extended Snippet (MOS, Miss You)
    3. Snippets (California, I Can See You For Miles)
    4. Reference (19, Love And Peace Or Else)
    5. Joke (Vertigo... how that counts as a snippet just like Hands is totally beyond me.
BTW, I'd say that Don't Let Me Be Missunderstood was snippeted in The Crystal Ballroom the first time it was played.)
  9. Which bit of the song? I can't hear it

Think you summerized it pretty acurately. The references and the jokes may be noted down in the comments of the show (if there is nothing better to report).
