  1. When tour hits Europe, what changes do you see happening? Feel free to comment your ideal, yet realistic setlist in comments.

    Personally, can see Even Better Than The Real Thing, the Hands snippet and Pride being dropped, in coming Running To Stand Still and unsure on what would replace EBTTRT. The encore, I can see being slightly changed, Streets and One only ones I feel I can guarantee remaining. Second song in the set will have new alterations. Out Of Control only one to remain, in coming New Year's Day and one other song. Also between Mysterious Ways and Every Breaking Wave, I hope there'll be more songs added to alter from night to night. Angel Of Harlem, When Love Comes To Town, Lucifer's Hands songs I can see not being played a lot.

    So my personal set list would be:

    1. The Miracle
    2. Out Of Control/New Year's Day/other song
    3. Vertigo
    4. I Will Follow
    5. Iris
    6. Cedarwood Road
    7. Song For Someone
    8. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    9. Raised By Wolves
    10. Until The End Of The World
    11. Invisible
    12. New song (maybe The Fly??)
    13. Mysterious Ways
    14. Desire/The Sweetest Thing/Stuck/Elevation/California/Volcano/Ordinary Love/Crystal Ballroom. (Maybe Tryin' To Throw Your Arms and/or Wild Horses) I Still Haven't Found might be better here rather than at the end

    You might see Two Hearts come into 2nd slot (since they supposedly sound checked it way back when... And I definitely see Hands being dropped, but not Pride... And I seriously doubt you'll see EBW getting dropped.

    I'd like to see This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now make it's way into a steady slot.

    And I definitely agree that ISHFWILF would be better in the middle than as a closer...
  5. I kind of like your list there. Nothing too crazy optimistic, but interesting nonetheless. It moves Streets into a much better position with far nicer surroundings (I'm not honestly expecting them to do it, since it means repeating Zoo TV, but we can dream). I don't want to speculate too much on new songs we might hear, just because it's all so up in the air, but I'm not sure we'll hear Running to Stand Still, and I can't see them dropping The Real Thing.

    I hope they fix the encore. The show feels anti-climactic and deflated towards the end. You need something with a bit of excitement, class, and rarity to make it special, and Beautiful Day simply doesn't cut it. Even it's biggest supporters will surely agree with that.
  6. I'd like to see Gloria, The Electric Co., and 11 O'Clock Tick Tock rotating at #2. Out of Control, Stories For Boys, and Twilight rotating at #3. Please swapped in for Sunday Bloody Sunday. I'd like Even Better Than The Real Thing to stay, but instead of using that as the song to leave the cage, they swap out Mysterious Ways for Discotheque and leave the cage like they did the lemon on Popmart. More songs in at #14 and #15 would be nice but drop Desire, Elevation, and Stuck from the list. Every Breaking Wave should be bumped to later in the set, could arguably end the set with Streets. The long "Pleeeeeeease" worked, why not a long "Waaaaave"? And finally With Or Without You should join One and I Still Haven't Found in rotation.
  7. only thing I'm concerned about is the "I'm an american" part. it's a set part of the show, but it needs changing for europe.

    everything else is totally up to them, in my book. of course I have some minor changes of my own on my wishlist, but none of them are deal breakers, so I'll let them surprise me or be ok with the setlists they've played so far.

    I hope Elevaton is dropped but I can't see it, hence why I added it to the list. It's not my dream set list by any means. I am a fan of the majority of the set list. But some confuse me. Glad they changed it back to Every Breaking Wave into Bullet. They should play this full band and use it to take up the encore, but don't see it. The acoustic version is brilliant, but without an orchestra and/or Larry and Adam coming in at the end, it's pretty boring.

    Volcano can replace vertigo, California can replace Even Better after invisible... They went to London then they went to America easy! Troubles needs to be either the end before 40 in the encore or before WOWY. Imagine an encore of City, Streets, Still, Troubles, 40.

    Europe still had 'We run into the arms of America', hands that built America snippet, etc during previous tours so think this theme will remain.
