1. Satellite of Love. 11th May 1993. Jesus that wee falsetto.

  2. Both Larry & Bono here are incredible !!
  3. @melon51

Is the Wide Awake in 1:56:18 a B4? He have hit that note a couple of times in Wide Awake on a few tours, but it sounds a bit different on this one....
  4. How do we think Bono is sounding compared to 2017/2019
  5. I thought he sounded great at the Sphere! Especially with some of the falsetto he was doing. I haven't listened back to any recordings yet, but he sounded great live.
  6. Agreed, his voice is really good this tour.
  7. I think I agree about 2017 and 2019 in general, however not necessarily for every song; for example, his Pride chorus performance was excellent in 2019 compared to that in the previous years, whereas Love is bigger and Beautiful Day in 2019 were quite weak compared to how he performed those songs in 2018. 2015 was an excellent vocal year for Bono. His range, intensity and overall vocal strength were fantastic between 2010 and 2016. It still is amazing and, judging by the Surrender solo tour and the Sphere shows, it's as if he has 'discovered' something almost new in his voice, he sounds really good, his falsetto has not sounded this good in quite some time and I'm excited to hear more over the next Sphere shows and hopefully on a new album.

Totally agree about the solo tour with him finding his new voice

I think I understand those who like 2015 more, and to be fair I could probably listen to more boots but I just think some of the notes he is hitting now (I.e. the falsetto) is more impressive. Maybe I give him more credit since I would assume every tour would be worse than the last at his age
  9. Bono still has a great voice in my opinion. I think it's just his breathing that makes him struggle sometimes so his voice is more hit and miss than it once was. He has definitely rediscovered his falsetto range since his book tour though.
