  1. Haaaaaaa. If it was a completely diff set (minus TJT section obviously) I'd be there in a second. PJ is now the only band I'm motivated to jump through hoops to see live multiple times because of the madness of their sets and how spontaneous they are live. Theres a legit FOMO that goes with a pj tour. Not comparing or knocking u2 at all. Just explaining myself.

However, looking Chris Cornel, prince etc there's also that FOMO with a band like u2 because you never know if it's the last time you'll see them. Sorry to be grim

  2. If they played that instead of, say MS, it would have been the perfect show for casual fans like my wife...maybe throw in full band Desire, too.

Admittedly, one of the reasons why I loved the TO show so much is that my friends and wife also had such a great time. We all loved the classics! With this said, one show will be enough for me. No need to trek down to Buffalo in Sept... I will get the DVD though.

BTW: I've enjoyed reading all your posts this morning, Nick (and the replies to them, if course)!

Thanks Matt. I don't want to sound too negative. i had a great time. Just compared to all the other u2 shows I was lucky enough to see, this one ranks the lowest. Not a bad thing. The others were just that good.

I agree that for me and the tours I've been lucky enough to see, the 360 shows and I&E shows were better than the JT show I've already seen, both setlist-wise and stage set up, though I still thought there was something special about this tour when I saw it in Chicago - and looking forward to Cleveland and Detroit too.

Earlier I just couldn't believe that someone would give up GA tickets they had already paid for...but reading that it takes 3 hours to get out of the parking lot in NY sounds terrible. I feel spoiled that it only took 20 minutes or so in Chicago!
  5. All critiques aside, you have to admit the visuals as shot by Anton Corbin were incredible...some of visuals from desert with the colored lights being pushed on the Joshua Tree felt like a throw back to a Depeche Mode concert (visually). I like that they have brought Anton Corbin's work to a broader audience. Anyone going tonight enjoy the show...now I am just waiting for Croke Park and finishing up with Amsterdam...
  6. Fail

For those who don't know why its a fail, he tried to do this:

Yea dude it's rough. This would be the first show I ever don't attend that I have tickets for but I'm traumatized from the ordeal getting out of the parking lot. It's hard to understand if you weren't ther. I saw 2 fender benders just where I was.
