Tour: Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Songs played: 22
Audio recordings: 1
  1. It was 3 in the morning for me, I only stuck around for the first half til the feeds went down
  2. Oh this was a different timezone, right? That explains it haha.

  3. Or Boston.

But 3 nights of identical set now kinda seems like it's cemented. I'm sure Europe may get some tweaks... and some cool Oasis snippets.

Still great, though. Wish I was getting a 2nd show...

    Thats thr spirit!

    Agreed!

  6. Amazing show last night to almost full stadium!!!!
My 1st U2 show on the front rail!!!! It was amazing!!!
  7. It,s hard to compare this 2017 JT show to original 1987 JT show Bono was 27 back when I saw them in smaller sold out arena (in nose bleed seats)just seemed band had a lott more raw energy back then no huge LCD tv screen overwhelming my senses. It was just U2 at their finest !!! Bono is 57 he still can sing and put on great show!! Edge still rocks out the tunes!!!! Adam amazing loud bass ! Larry amazing! The magic is still there with U 2!! Sound is still amazing second to none don't get me wrong it was amazing incredible ,but 1987 U2 was much better!!!!

Saw them both indoor and outdoor on original tour... from front rail to nosebleeds! Don't forget they had the energy of being "rock's hottest ticket" and were conquering stadiums for the first time, so in a sense, it's hard to compare. They still go out and give it and they still take the time to thank us all, but the drive is definitely different, for sure. The views change a lot from climbing the mountain to relaxing on top looking down...
  9. I agree 100 percent they been playing almost 40 years if you count since U2 first began playing Irish pubs in 1978 to now worldwide super mega rock band 2017!!!
Audience was younger back in 1980's too thus there was more energy /hype at U2 shows!!!
I'm looking forward to Indianapolis show taking wife who's never been to any U2 show before , she will be in for a real treat!!!!

  10. I really don't get the set list at all . It just doesn't flow in the way a U2 show normally would
