With this starting date scheme, I see it as a potential Elevation Tour part II... Arenas in the US during spring, then fly to Europe and do arenas (only arenas) during July, August and September... Then off to US again for Autumn. And then it becomes Vertigo Tour part II, stadiums in South America / Australasia, and then back to the US and maybe Europe for a stadium leg in 2016 after Songs Of Experience is released?

I think a European tour in July/August wouldn't be wise, considering the Summer holidays. I hope they will start 'here' in September and onwards.
  2. I renewed this morning...bring on those dates.

(I should add that I hope a "US Tour" includes a few stops in Canada as it often does. Otherwise, I just spent fifty bucks on a book.)

I don't get your point. What's a better way to spend your Summer holidays than following U2 around our beautiful continent?

Anyway, I was just thining of the Elevation tour (when they played Europe indoors between the end of June and September).
  4. From the RS interview...

Nice TTTYAATW reference Will they finally go and play it on the next tour?

  5. in an interview that made for a radio in Portugal (not yet disclosed), they said they will return to play a great success in upcoming tour

You mean they will play an old&successful song once again in the next tour? Hmmm I wonder which could it be... Bullet The Blue Sky, maybe New Year's Day?

Aha, thanks! So according to my poor Portuguese understanding, "Edge reveals they'll start performing again a classic they haven't played for quite a long time"... I definitely don't know which song could it be. BTBS has only missed one tour, that ain't "a long time"... I wouldn't classify A Sort Of Homecoming or Twilight as "classics" but I've anticipated both of their returns so they'd be much welcome haha
  9. Have you read the RS sneak preview? In there Bono says that Songs of Ascent will be the last part of the trilogy!

And there's another twist: In 2009, Bono promised that U2 would quickly follow up No Line on the Horizon with a more meditative companion album, Songs of Ascent. There has been no sign of it since, but Bono now sees it as the third part of the trilogy. "Songs of Ascent will come," he promises. "And there are some beautiful songs."

  10. And that SOI will have an intimate tour then SOE will be larger.
  11. That means that North Star will be released, probably in Songs Of Ascent. That's great news, at least for me.

  12. That's probably going to be their last ever studio album
