1. One of the full shows and one of the promo stops (not a full show.)
  2. I could not imagine the Stones without Charlie and was devastated when it was announced in 2021 that he couldn't tour and would be replaced by Steve Jordan.
Of course I was even more devastated when he passed.I thought it was all over and would have accepted the Stones' decision to quit as it is up to them what to do.

When show were announced for Europe for 2022 I was absolutely happy and tried to attend as many as possible (due to first Mick and then me catching Covid I ended up with 3).

I had a blast at the shows. Steve Jordan of course is a different drummer, but he is fitting very well and there was a great chemistry on stage.

The show in Bruxelles last year was easily among the best I have seen by the Stones. It was also a way to deal with the grief about CW's passing.

Luckily, Larry is alive, so the situation is quite different of course.
But it's up to the band to decide what to do. If they decide to call it quits, I'd be sad - but so be it.
If they decide to go on, I will be there. If I enjoy the shows, I will be a returning customer, as before.
  3. I don't think so.

Even as I was watching it happen, I thought that the finale of the E&I show (Bono walking offstage singing "13") would be the appropriate finale for my 30 years of U2 shows.

Then I got to see Bono in NYC. I'm glad I went, but what more does he have to say to me? I'm no longer very interested in this mining of the past.

The new material would have to really speak to me.

Even then, I'm not sure I would spend the money and deal with all the hassles of going to a big show to see someone else behind the drum kit.

Seeing old guys playing songs from when they/we were young is pretty depressing anyway, in my opinion.

Why do I want to be reminded of mortality and time any more than I already am every day?

It happened. It was great. I got to be part of it. Maybe it's better not to keep trying to relive the past?
  4. I recently listened Bullet the Blue Sky live played at JT tour 2017 in Amsterdam. When I listened to the drumpart, I couldn't Image that I ever gonna see U2 without Larry. U2 without Larry is no U2. U2 in Vegas without Larry is taking a lot of money for a three leg dog.
Bad management. Would never happened under Paul McGuinnes. Shame on the three leg moneymachine.
  5. Yes, but while obviously noting that the “band with no turnover” thing is over. It would be a step closer to the “band as trademark” thing a la The Who, Rolling Stones.

I deal with dead people every day, and I'm still going to Vegas 🤣 but I see your point. Seeing them all wrinkly and grey is sobering..I guess part of me is sad that we're all getting older, and another part of me wants to be nostalgic and relive the old days and music.

You know my view of U2 and I guess you know my answer also.
  8. Yes.
