Lol funny thing was I was talking about him to my uncle, and my uncle said "isn't that him there" I was like oh shit it is. Genuinely had no idea. Couldn't get a good picture though. He moved on.
  3. Crowd seemed more lively tonight and seemed to know the words to even the new songs. I heard booing during the EU segment and there was a guy wearing a pink t shirt that said "here for U2 not EU" which I thought was quite funny.
  4. Only show I’ve seen this tour but really good especially the 1st half - wild horses, the fly and zoo station were brilliant. 2nd half needs a bit of work as it doesn’t flow overly well esp as Bono talks too much. Crowd was about what you would expect - GA was lively/happy, upper rows were dead. Contrary to the above, all I heard was cheering when Bono said the U.K. should stay in the EU.

He spoke for about 2 mins the whole show on political stuff...and was pragmatic. Even my Brexit mate loved it
  6. The way bono went about the brexit stuff tonight was top class. Didn’t divide people but sort of promoted the feeling of togetherness and unity etc. He seemed genuinely emotional before One.

    Totally agree

  8. Aftershow party
  9. Went tonight, had an absolute blast, fabulous gig. Stupidly close to the B-stage on Edge's side, great spot.

Have tried to avoid most updates and spoilers this time around but alas I couldn't avoid finding out Horses was getting regular playtime this leg. Have had to keep calm for the last week or so because I felt sod's law would get involved and that they'd drop it by the time I got to see them, so when it kicked in I nearly cried. Bloody loved the new arrangement of NYD, had no idea they'd done that, almost Floyd-esque in its dark broodingness. Most emotional performance of One I can remember too - to be honest, found an awful lot of it very moving tonight.

All in all, a cracking night, and I can now die happy because they played My Song. Some dreams do come true.
  10. and why stop playing landlady and RFD?
