1. Larry and Adam are those I'd believe. They never speak up, though.
  2. It's always: better do "the best" for a long time , than do "something", but quikly.

I believe, but also I know that they like to feed us by promises as well as themself.

    Anyway,better late than never.
  3. nah, it took them 5 years or so to follow up HTDAAB, I doubt the new one will be it only just over a year after the last.

I voted it could go both ways, and I remain hopeful, but it's not realistic.

Yeah but NLOTH wasn't an album full of ideas that had been recycled from Bomb. In fact, almost all of the songs on NLOTH were described as being written in Fez, completely new ideas and everything. Even Bomb definitely had some material on it that had been floating around for years and years (SYCMIOYO)

SOA is more of a "follow up" to NLOTH, whereas NLOTH was a completely new album after Bomb.

  5. I was one of the lucky people who got to be in the audience on March 9th at Capitol Records when the band did a radio show there. During a commercial break, Bono said there would be a new album out soon. What he said is "some things come in pairs" and he referenced Zooropa coming out fairly quickly after Achtung. He finished with "I'm completely forbidden to tell you...but that's the plan" .

    touche.
  7. No, because Bono....
  8. A very good album? ...this summer??

That would be fantastic! But I can't see it happening...

    ...and yet ZOOROPA was amazing!!!

God bless you all folks! ...and a happy new year!
  9. Just yes, I do..

Reminds me of Snow Patrol..Just say yes
  10. No. It would ruin the 3 album cycle they seem to have adopted.

    Phase 1
    Boy
    October ----------------------------------------- EARLY DAYS
    War

    phase 2
    Unforgettable fire
Joshua tree ---------------------------------- CHANGE & GROW
    Rattle & hum

    phase3
    Achtung Baby
    Zooropa --------------------------------------- GIANT LEAP FORWARD/EXPERIMENTATION
    POP

    phase4
All that you can't leave behind
Atomic bomb --------------------------------- CLASSIC SONGWRITING/BACK TO BASICS
    No line on the horizon

Even the 'look' of the band is similar in each phase.

    I agree with these phases!
In my opinion, that would mean:

    phase 5:
    SoA june 2010
Album end 2010---------------GOING FOR CASH BY PUTTING OUT MATERIAL AT HIGH SPEED
    Album end 2011

so, SoA will be the first in the highspeed 5th trillogy......

by the way, I voted: No, because Bono.......
