    Bono was into chess in high school. Not much cooler in the rock world.
  5. Didn't he actually beat some world champion or something? Like he wasn't just "into chess", he was a prodigy....or am I getting that wrong?
  6. On Howard Stern he mentioned something about chess and I had no idea what he was talking about so I think he is a pretty solid player

    Yeah I can’t remember where I read it now...maybe at the end of the world? Bono was like a chess prodigy as a kid and beat some champion or something, but never really kept up with it.
