1. If anyone at Universal has any intelligence they will se themselves fit to release a box set of Zooropa. There are enough promo releases to easily add a Super Deluxe version and claw the money in.
They could easily make a market for this fantastic album. It deserves the accolade of a stand alone release in my opinion. Just look at some of my earlier posts of the amount of promo material i have around Zooropa.
Someone should have the vision to make a box set, surely!

    Yeah, it's crazy.

But forget Zooropa for a second, it's the 20th anniversary of Pop and we're not getting ANYTHING this Fall. I'm both not surprised at all (based on how the band feels about it) and completely surprised (because despite how the band feels about it, I'm sure their label thinks they could still make tons of cash off of an easy-to-make box set).

They should reissue vinyl on all the overpriced '90 - present releases.
  4. Given the climate for vinyl revival i do hope they see sense and make the album available again. I would more than likely buy another copy in addition to my original as i would play it to death!
  5. The consensus should be that repressings on vinyl of a high end band like U2 will always shift. Big market and would stop real fans getting ripped off. That has been my biggest problem with it all in 40 years of collecting. Navigating a course through some serous rip off merchants. I have been very lucky to have met some superb suppliers along the way who would genuinely look out for stuff for me. They still do too.

After the reissue of HTDAAB this year, I thought they might follow up with more, but maybe sales on that made them reluctant...

  7. I had this and it broke a few months ago. Couldn't get JT tickets then this...

    Exactly!
  9. If they release Man as the last album there should be a boxest, the artwork will Boy on one side, Man on the other, including all albums

I think that the overload of U2 would have been too much this year after years of nothing previously. Maybe POP will see a 25th anniversary. Who knows. If they can reissue other albums this year then why not the better two of the lot. Zooropa and POP. I should imagine sales and quantity of pressings would dictate the market.
