1. As some of you know, I have been working with a dog shelter for some time now (18 months or so)... It's a very rewarding "job" (it's volunteering actually), but it's also tough at times. And it makes for some interesting photography as well.

  2. Thank you for volunteering at a shelter Should be said more often to people who help out.
  3. Thanks for the encouragement It's a really wonderful thing to do, very rewarding and moving. Sure it's tough at times, but the reward is big enough! We are also a foster home (is that the term? a house where dogs wait for a definitive adoption) and that requires a lot of dedication -we've had up to 14 dogs at once, 6 adult and 8 puppies- but is also very nice.

  5. 6 years tied to a chain? Makes me sick.
But I'm so happy that you rescued her! You're my hero!
  6. Why people suck reason 1.

    Good job, my man.

  7. My Ares, boxer five years old, love love love.
  8. Thank you all for the nice words

She lived tied to this chain since late 2010, every few months giving birth to puppies which soon were stolen to her
