1. Man Scarlet is fantastic. It's like a mood piece, a deep cut. I think it's unfair to call a song like that boring, it has a certain purpose and I think it fills that purpose beautifully.
  2. Grace surely, and please don´t include Miami, as it is a creative, funky and dancing tune for the gifted ones!

Agreed. Everyone is entitled, though... I suppose.
  4. Same could be said for Boots.
  5. You're right, everyone is entitled

I hate Boots! I think the difference between it and Miami is that Miami wasn't composed to be "U2's next vertigo-like single". Boots is a sad attempt at a hit single while Miami is a weird funkadelic experiment.
  6. U2 wrote Miami.
  7. Surprised no one has said the only correct answer: Walk To The Water.
    It's science, deal with it!

Everyone has a different perspective... I tend to gravitate more towards the words. Boots was a bad attempt at a single, yes. But some of the lyrics are brilliant. And people said the same thing about The Fly, too, when it came out. And I think I might put Boots ahead of Vertigo on my list... For lyrical content alone, anyway...

All the reason to love this band even more. Not afraid to go with what the feel... And if the fall and fail, they get back up, dust themselves off, and start again.

  10. Erm...not even close.

    Elevation is the worst.
