Today, 24 July, we celebrate our fifth anniversary. The first version of U2start was published on the U2start.com domain in 2006. Almost 50,000 users, 1200 bootlegs and 7000 photos later we are here, in 2011, already featuring version 3.9 of the website. It has become more than I ever thought it would be, I am very proud and happy with this community and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
This is in my opinion still what U2 fans are and should be all about: sharing their passion in all possible ways.

Your 5th anniversary and my 2 year one of seeing U2 for the first time that caused me to join this brilliant site. Congratulations to Remy and the crew. Looking forward to the next 5 and many more hopefully.
5 years already, incredible. Thank you, Remy, for starting this place and turning it into the #1 home for many U2 fans all around the world. Also thanks to those of the crew who help to make u2start even better again and again. You guys rock. I'm glad all of us can join this community.
