1. Love the double standard on here.
  2. I hope everything goes well with the Norwegian Hercules plane they think has gone down in the Swedish mountains. Big military exercise in Norway right now, 16,000 soldiers from 15 countries. The U.S. with the most soldiers. Other big participants are Sweden, the UK, Norway (obviously), France and Canada.
  3. I thought about creating a new topic to discuss the following subject, but I guess this Politics topic is the right one.

After some weeks and a huge repercussion, KONY still one of the most commented subjects here. A lot of criticism about the hole thing and the organization Invisible Children came in public, and now people are wondering if the intetion of the organiation is really good, or if they're doing this just to get attention and resourses for themselfs.

So, I'd like to know your opinion about the hole thing. What do you think about KONY and it's context inside Africa issue?

  4. I'm assuming by Hercules plane you mean a C-130. Arguebly one of the greatest planes ever designed.

  5. They still haven't found it. The weather is very harsh.
  6. Which country is providing the search and rescue choppers? American Pararescuemen are arguebly the best rescue specialist in the world, but I imagine your country probally has numerous resources for such an event.

Mostly Norway, but Sweden too. It wouldn't surprise me if we are the best at searching in harsh winter weather in the mountains The weather is too bad for helicopters though. (or was for a while)
  8. I woulnd't be suprised by that either but I stand by what I said about Pararescue.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pararescue

Of the 22 enlisted Air Force Cross recipients, 12 have been from Pararescue.
  9. I doubt you're as good as us in this terrain and climate

This is the highest mountain in Sweden. Not that high, but very difficult terrain.
