They do have another team working on these things. They produced two big projects to date. The big Joshua Tree box and the big ATYCLB box. Neither had anything new added to it other than some remixes. No additional demos. And there were plenty of them from ATYCLB that could have been used. And that’s who’s still at the helm.
  2. Zooropa will have a digital reissue?

  3. and i love this

Joshua Tree 🌳 boxset /deluxe had live from MSG which was never previously available and ALTYCLB had Boston on CD/ Vinyl which wasn't previously available(except on DVD)ok they could have opened the vaults and gone all out with a lot more exclusive content which would be a lot more appealing for hardcore fans who own everything ever released and are the ones that usually buy these overpriced Boxsets.

But no additional demos. Just remixes and live tracks.

The New York '87 show was released via Wolfgang's Vault in 2013, which was an agreed upon release via the band and promoter of the shows in '87. The Boston show was released previously as DVD. Nothing there that was super new.

Regardless, my point was, this new team that is working on collections right now, seems more interested in just packing together was previously released to celebrate the era, maybe with a few new remixes tossed in, or live tracks in a new format. Where the previous team seemed more focused on trying to drag some of the unheard demos from the darkness...
  6. Was thrilled to get an official release of 'Down All the Days' on the AB20 box, and would love to hear more of 'In Cold Blood' than the fragment that appears on one of the remixes, indicating there are demos recorded.

Same, along with the earlier versions of IGWSHA, LNOE and HMTMKMKM. Even some bonus stuff like the track used from soundcheck to create Zooropa or random studio noodling.
  8. I’d settle for a measly wide digital release of Lemon (Lemonade Mix)…I’m not greedy.

Ultimately the "team" work off the directions of the band I'm sure Edge and Bono have a big say in what gets released the other 2 probably couldn't care a less going by the bands activities over the last 5 years which has solely been Bono and Edge doing SOS and various promotional events .
  10. MSG was a great addition to the JT 30 rerelease and previously unavailable. A nice bonus since Paris was released at.the 20th anniversary show.
    A
ATYCLB should have a 3rd leg Elevation show as Boston and Slane document earlier legs.
Also going with Sydney again for AB30 was weak.

Do recordings of these exist, or is this just wishful thinking?
  12. Maybe wishful thinking, however the band do record a lot during jams and were on a creative high during the Zooropa recording sessions so maybe there is stuff in the vaults.
