  1. Viva la Vida. Brian Eno was working on both albums at the same time, and "Winter" shows that he was experimenting with those big orchestra hit sounds at the time.

    To me, ever since NLOTH came out, the Linear version has always just been part of the album for me. I placed it near the end, between Breathe and COL. It works well there, and these past 11 years it's just been part of NLOTH on all my devices. I sometimes forget that it's not actually on the album. Same with GBHF on ATYCLB, and Mercy on HTDAAB.
