    NOTES:
Another mysteriousdays-stream captured, mixed and mastered.
Again, it's not as good as a real "rig" (or a ZOOM!) but it is
certainly worth of "bootlegging," if only for the fact that a
REEL rig hasn't surfaced as of yet (that is, with Chicago 12
hours behind us and already represented with recordings of each
    night!).
And apart from its documentary value, it is quite a good iPhone
recording after mixing. It is only a very LOUD one with lots
of up-close screamers... But, it also contains some amazingly
good tracks, e.g. Invisble, Song For Someone.
I'm not sure if this recording is best appricated on speakers,
but if it may one day be played loud on a distant and sunny shore,
    I'll be perfectly happy!
THANKS "zoo" mysteriousdays for broadcasting the show live to the
world... SPECIAL THANKS to u2start for hosting possibly the first
    of many more SMARTphone-recordings/broadcasts.

NB: it is of course the MEDICAL cannabis that was hinted at...
And the phrase was taken from one of the previous Montréal shows.

    DISCLAIMER:
If you can sell this one in order to do some good in the world
(e.g., feed a child, donate to charity or an African well), I see
no reason to warn against it...

DON'T CONVERT TO FLAC AND TRADE THIS OFF AS "LOSSLESS" FOR IT IS NOT...
  2. Thanks! Great efforts from you & mysteriousdays. Adding to the show pages as we speak.
  3. Some people on our Facebook actually don't agree with your choice for a title by the way! They see that U2 didn't mention it, nor hinted at it. See our latest post on FB for more details
  4. I think the title comes from Joyce hearing "cannabis" instead of "Canada's". Besides didn't Bono make a drug reference way back at the start of the tour?
  5. They played Miracle Drug two times this tour haha
  6. So we are only missing Denver 1 now, right?

Right, someone said: "Not at all. [Bono] was talking about Canada's human rights record etc. It.s unfair to put drug promotion on a U2 themed graphic. It's not what U2's about. Sorry"

It is a JOKE - and indeed, as Tim remarked, at the Montréal 3 concert I noticed that "we need more Canada's" sounded like "we need more Cannabis" - or "the WORLD needs more Canada's," I'm not exactly sure and it does not really matter.
Nor does it matter that BONO actually said something like it at the last of the Montréal shows, because I just thought it was too good of a bootleg title. The question then is, what is a good bootleg title? I think it has to be something that either characterizes the show in a witty or ironical way, or something that is just catchy.
One of the very first bootlegs ever was called "Liver Than You'll Ever Be" and featured a Rolling Stones concert from 1969. No-one ever SAID "Liver Than You'll Ever Be" - not Mick, not Keith, no-one - but it is just a good title because the whole idea of non-official live recordings was totally new.

Why the reference to cannabis is legitimized is that MEDICAL*cannabis has proven to be beneficial to glaucoma, the eye condition Bono recently revealed to suffer from. So, in my opinion as an artist, Bono COULD have said "we need more cannabis." This is why I stand behind the title, including the strike through Canada's: "We Need more Canada's Cannabis"

PS: someone also noticed that 4th was wrongly spelled as "forth" - this is corrected now.
If someone would be so kind to update the cover on facebook, I would be much obliged1

    * as explicitly pointed out in the INFO file!
  8. PS2:
Is it drug promotion? Of a very specific drug it is, but it is not simply not tenable to read it as a promotion for drugs in general.
    +
Cannabis is a NATURE product used for so many other things than to get stoned (or is this the problem? That people think that getting stoned is BAD… )
    +
MEDICAL cannabis is legit in quite some parts in the world – this is a good thing and I don’t see why U2 would be per se against it.

Cheers for that I think it's fine, just leave things as-is.
On Facebook you can't change the image without a re-post so I'll leave it like it is.
  10. quick suggestion here:

    "We need more cannabis Canada's"

It leaves the cannabis reference but it fits what Bono actually said. It would fit actually BigGirl's reaction too, first hearing cannabis and then the "oh... he said canada's" funny moment.

Not that I mind one way or the other, off course, since I just have one cover for all the tour bootlegs
