favorite tour: Lovetown
"I was not born yet, but I have the feeling that concerts were more spontaneous, more rock, more alive and less programmed in advance. Setlists were also more interesting, changing, alive. The band seems to be at the peak of its form. I understand very well that with a show like "Innocence & Experience", there are technicals and a visual show to prepare which put a pressure to the band about setlist, changes and improvisations. But I think that recently U2 forgot the meaning of the word rock for the word theater. I saw that during the "Innocence & Experience" tour even their steps on stage were programmed to be identical to each concert, I find it exaggerated. You can have the songs, the lights and the visual show programmed but keep a part of improvisation in your gestures and movements on stage. In short I really like the freedom that the band gave to itself in this "Lovetown" tour. I also really appreciate the "Elevation Tour" for the freedom in their setlist. I loved the "Zoo Tv", "Popmart" or "360°" because it was huge with great songs too :-) It's really difficult to just choose one actually."

"Simply my first U2 concert ever."
favorite album: The Joshua Tree
"I had an hesitation with "Rattle & Hum" and "Achtung Baby". This trilogy is for me the best. I had to make a choice and it's done. But honestly I could say that "Boy" or "The Unforgettable Fire" are quiet good as well."
favorite song: Bad
"I couldn't explain why. I'm never tired of it, it's a kind of sound and a kind of freedom that the band seems to miss recently (see my comment about the "Lovetown Tour"). Live performances of "Bad" are sometimes very energic and atmosphere is different and changing. It's a song which change a gig. It's also simple and pleasant to play at the guitar."

about U2Bad2017
I'm not sure when I heard U2 for the first time. My father always listened good music, I probably heard U2 on my first days on Earth, or even before. I was born in 1992 and my first memory concerning the band is the VHS of the Popmart Tour in Mexico City. So I think it was around 1998. I know that we tried to see them with my family in 2001 in Antwerpen but we did not get the tickets. After a first concert with my father on 10th July 2005 in Stade de France, we saw U2 in family (my parents, my brother and me) on 11th July 2009 and 18th September 2010 in Stade de France. In 2015, it was in Antwerp that my father, a couple of friends of mine and of course myself saw U2 once more. I saw them again with my father in 2017 in Brussels. My father saw them in 1985 in Werchter. I tried without success to see them in 2018. It is a big regret to not get a ticket for a tour during which "Acrobat" has been played. You surely saw me here under the nicknames of U2Bad001 and U2Bad1992. I had these two accounts and not coming here often enough, I deleted them (don't hit me: P). Apart from that, I play the guitar, love reading, like music, traveling, movies, series, board games, video games and I like spending time with friends.
