Ei was a 9/10 : great concept, great execution, near perfect setlist by the time it got to Dublin/Berlin
iE was a 8.5/10 : great concept, very well executed, however the setlist did have a couple of staples I am no fan of - Bullet and Desire/Angel of Harlem
TJT30 was a 5/10 : a cashgrab concept that pulled itself into weird shapes to feel relevant, and felt like a tour motivated by money rather than any artistic reason. It was great to see songs like Exit and One Tree Hill reappear, BUT it was a nostalgia, "Look How Great We Were" type feel after the euphoria of the show. Like brilliant but hollow sex with an ex you haven't seen for 30 years and has aged pretty well.

I+E was considerably tighter and more cohesive than 360, way, way better than JT30 and conceptually was one of their best tours. In my mind I+E is only second to Zoo TV and PopMart. Incredible tour at such a crucial period of the band's career.
How the heck has E+I got the most votes? It was the bands least interesting tour, with the least night to night variation and the safest most conservative set-list choices, the band on autopilot pretty much.. bored and fatigued after 3 consecutive years of touring,
Perhaps E+I is getting a lot of votes due to recency bias?

E&I is getting more votes because it was people’s most favourite recent tour, that is the majority opinion and your view that I&E was your favourite is in the minority opinion.

yes, that's what the numbers are saying.. doesn't mean people can have doubts about the reasons behind that. I also think it's weird as for me it clearly was the worst of the three tours and that's when you start looking for possible explanations.. and there are many.. recency bias might be one of them.. it's just a small poll, there were millions of people there.. one tour just finished, the other already 3 years ago.. it's biased anyway..

Of course people that have a different favourite might find it weird but that’s just a matter of learning to accept an opinion that differs from your own. People seem to have trouble doing that. There’s no harm having a discussion about why something is your favourite but I think there is actually something wrong in questioning other people’s reasoning for choosing there favourite. This discussion was had a while back anyway and it came across the same way as it is now, not being able to accept a differing opinion without questioning people’s reasoning for coming to that opinion. Personally I love all 3 tours anyway so didn’t care what was voted top, I am glad though all tours got a decent share of the vote.

has nothing to do with accepting different opinions.. I just don't agree with you that it's a fact that it's people's favourite tour.. this poll might say so, but audience reaction in the stadium said something different.. ticket sales also.. we're just asking valid questions and your answer to that is probably a bit too simple..

Nobody is saying this one poll decides what the majority view is amongst the entire u2 fan base. If it was a poll done on a wider scale then we would have different results to some degree. That’s not the issue though, the issue is people picking what is there favourite then having that choice questioned by others who can’t accept a different view from there own.
