  5. Great interview Ed. Huge U2 fan, PJ fan, Rangers fan. What's not to like?
  6. TY.....I will be there tonight....big game against the hated Flyers....we need the King ..he was huge in the shoot out the other night...Nash has been as advertised...he is a beast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Nice interview Ed, hope for you that this new PJ album and tour come soon
And if your kids like Disney world more then Europe, just combine both with Disney world Paris.

Although it's great living close to Amsterdam, as most artists/tours seem to stop here, it can't off course be compared to NYC. Can imagine you live their your whole life, who would want to move from there. Hope to visit the city soon, preferably with a show in MSG. The cities are linked, New York was New Amsterdam once

One thing I've always wondered, do you occur often disturbances (if that is the correct word) because of the many movies and music videos they shoot there, like road blocks etc.

    Nice dude! Enjoy the game.
  9. No,there isnt too much fuss, as far as movies and what have you.Robert DeNiro lives around the block from me (on Hudson St),as does Chris Martin from Coldplay.DeNiro really made this area popular, thankfully a couple of years after I bought my apt.I was able to buy 2 apts.amd combine them back then.

I remember when the movie Ghost was filmed, by my apt building. Some scenes were actually shot on my block. That was in 1990 I believe.I bought in this area (TriBeCa) over 23 years ago,or I couldnt touch the real estate here. The side streets are paved with cobblestones, its beautiful.

The celebs are around alot since the mid 90s.I have spoted Bono a few times down here, and the Edge rides his bike alot on West St.

    I have a U2 story,about when I met the band in TriBeCa.

I was lucky enough to meet the band,in Nov 2004,while they were filming the Alll Because of You video. They took a break in filming,on Varick St,not 2 blocks from where I live.I walked over and spotted Larry first,he was talking to two Policemen from the NYPD.They were from the Motorcycle unit, and Larry was no doubt asking about their bikes.I asked if it was ok for his autogragh, for my daughter of course.LOL.He was very polite, and he asked for her name, wrote her name, and he signed his name below it.Pretty cool.Adam was sitting in the second row,of a black SUV,with the window down, smoking a cigarette.Classic Adam.I said to myself what the hell, and walked over.I started to chat to him.Bono was sitting next to Adam, with Paul McGuinness on the other side.I noticed Edge sitting in the back, but could only make out his hand.I had a lengthy chat with Adam.He was very friendly. He continued to smoke his cigarette, and listen to me,as I blabbered on about how many times Ive seen U2 over the years.

I didnt say anything to Bono,as he was in a deep conversation with Paul.I didnt want to bother him. When I told Adam I heard the new release,Bono quickly turned to me,leaned over and asked how I liked the album.I almost froze up.Then,I told him it was great, and I was glad that they returned to their "old sound".Bono was charming,as was Adam. They both looked me straight in the eyes, as they spoke to me.I like that.Bono said he was glad that I liked it,and that he heard me say I saw the band quite a few times in 1985,and I still attened shows. He "thanked me".Can you imagine ? I thought to myself, what a class act.I asked Adam if I could have his autograph, for my daughter. He smiled,Im sure knowing full well it was for me,and signed. Then,he handed the paper and pen to Bono, who signed, and then Bono handed the paper to Edge, in the back seat.Edge seemed a little reluctant to sign, but did, after Bono turned and looked at him, reaching for the paper.I thanked them, and was about to walk off, when Adam asked me if I was going to watch them in Brooklyn.I said I didnt know about it,but yes,I will indeed head over.I was thrilled over my encounter with them.I then waited for the band to go back to the flatbed. This was the day the band played the free show in Brooklyn.I headed over the Brooklyn Bridge, and watched the show.An amazing day it was.I have the bands autographs framed, with a picture of them performing the All Because Of You video.

    That is my U2 moment.
  10. ^

    I hate you
  11. LOL

Sergio,up until then,I waited 21 years for that moment. Its funny, looking back, how reluctant I was to say anything to Bono.I was afraid he might blow me off.Nothing could have been further from the truth.
