I first became a fan of U2 in '84 when late one night I saw Under a Blood Red sky on TV. I loved the music and went right out and bought "War", "Boy" and "The Unforgettable Fire". I've been a fan ever since.
"The morning before a show I get nervous. I can wake up with a really bad sick feeling. I have to hit very high notes and if you hit them wrong you can put your throat out. So there's a, 'Will I? Won't I?' aspect to it. It used to worry me sick. That sense of, how could I meet the levels of expectation."
