2017-11-11 - London
Tour: Experience and Innocence tour
Songs played: 9
Audio recordings: 2
Videos: 3
  1. it sounded great when you were actually there, when the bass and drums kick in through the chorus really did sound good.
  2. Granted my basis is a crappy quality video... So I will take your word for it!
  3. joshua tree tour is finished but the setlist is not very different:
    sunday
    pride
    elevation
    vertigo
    beautiful day
    snippets and two new songs

no joshua tree songs of course

oh my God , they are not "my" u2, embarrassing, i will wait the first Soe setlist in Tulsa is better, i'm really disappointed, sorry to everybody ,imo
  4. No surprises at all, so why complaining. Mtv public = hits and a new album coming. People here who had expect some surprises, keep on dreaming.
  5. Can anybody tell me which song was playing over PA system before U2 started their show ?
  6. mtv? it's not mtv of upon a time.
setlist? always elevation vertigo and beautiful day?
    sunday and pride?
u2 a mainstream band or a real rock band?
Why the Boss always changes or Pearl Jam?
and so may awards like a boyband? U2 like an adult boyband?
They have so many songs to play instead bd vertigo and elevation or the historical sunday and pride ,or not?
Sorry Ferrari but if you like everything they play ok, my opinion it's different.
And now i complain and i am really disappointed.
Hope it will be my mistake and Soe will be a fantastic album and the tour amazing, that's my dream about my favorite band of last 37 years.

ps maybe all the show of london it's great for young people but not for an old fan like me
pps and david guetta on stage, editing music oh no please!!!!!!
  7. I really can’t believe people are complaining over a 40 min gig. It was always going to be those songs. They’ve just been playing them for the last 5 months. Ffs. People really need to chill out
  8. New Radicals : You get what you give. Excellent song...... I never have heard that before. I first thought it was a new U2 song.
  9. The link was buffering, but i saw some of the gig. I thought that
was all decent. Some of us would like to have heard a different song, or whatever. It's just a promo gig.

greatest band on earth with shitty setlists
they are no Foo Fighters, Perl Jam, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, ect, at mixing it up, they unfortunately stick to the same old formula ,NOT anymore do we go "wow i cant believe i'm hearing this song. They have such a great back catalogue of songs i cant believe have not been played or rarely played. Songs like Heartland, Stranger In A Strange Land, White As Snow, MOS needs to be played again, Peace On Earth, Kite, A Man And A Woman, Cedars Of Labanon ect..The point is they never take risk anymore besides playing TJT tour...There's articles saying that the tour was a contract obligation but who knows, You would think U2 would have the power to say no, they seemed stale this Tour at times i'm sorry to say. Maybe the thing Bono had going on last year has taken it's toll, Such a big stage and i wasn't there but from all the footage iv'e seen they seemed like they couldn't use that production like they once could on 360. Do you remember like 5 years ago on the last 360 leg he was running around like never before...now 5 years later he can't play guitar and run around ..i guess age, but its a big difference is just 5 years.

Yes... Get real... The whole thing was a surprise... and free....and in a unique never to be repeated setting...a nice Thank you to a lucky few...a Saturday night treat.

It was not the place to roll out Acrobat and Lady with the Spinning Head ! The new songs were obscure enough.

.... and David Guetta was great, totally rocked the place (ZooTV and Pop elements very much in evidence !)
  12. Remember when they at least used to roll out UTEOTW on occassions like this? Eg brit awards and rock and roll hall of fame. Those performances were amazing. No reason why they cant throw in one or two like that.

But I think the reason why they dont vary setlists very much is because they are perfectionists and will not risk playing something they havent rehearsed to death- and we all know they dont like rehearsing
