    @your previous post... Really? MOS to close again? Nah it had its moment on the 360 tour, it wasn't the most brilliant closer for the big audience (thousands left the stadiums after WOWY! Sickening) and I don't think they were too happy with it but were stubborn enough not to retire it and close with a more obvious classic except for select shows closing with Out Of Control; AIWIY and 40. And well, what to say about Edge and Acrobat. No comments.
    90 shows into the show ? Starting to feel that way alright !!!
  2. thinking about it, there are probably a lot of songs they went through but were 'not happy with it' and they still play mediocre versions of songs like Sweetest Thing odd

  4. I really think Troubles or Sleep like a baby should be second last every night with One, Bad, AIWIY, MOS & " 40" rotating as the last song.

    Also Two hearts & 11 O Clock need to be made more use of either in slot 2 or the e stage slot
  5. they can play whatever, but that is the point, i'm just curious what they mean with 'we are not happy with it'....its interesting that they tried acrobat though, it's just strange they probably tried a lot of different songs but usually play the songs everyone sort of expect them to play instead of songs WE would like to hear (rarities, Pop tracks, AB tracks), exceptions aside (Zooropa during 360 for example)

    Also agree the encore need a SOI song, don't care which. But yeah different topic
  7. this is so true, a lot of people do not really care if they nail it, they just want to hear them try. Eventually they will, I guess, it just takes (a lot of) time.
  8. Moment of Surrender is a brilliant song with an extraordinairy rhythm. Best version, imo, still is the album version when everyone - and most importantly Bono! - did surrender themselves completly to the song. I guess it worked a couple of times live during 360 (with the first attempt in Barcelona not in the least!), but unless Bono's voice is 100% stable and sound, they should better leave it for album replay only.

    Surprised to hear they rehearsed an accoustic e-stage version
  10. I flew from Bordeaux to Berlin and it is was worth the trip :
    1st : German and Berliner spirit/respect were great (very cool travelling in the U-Bahn)
    2nd : The Arena is amazing!!
    3th : Powerful show (Electric Co, Until the end of the world, Bullet The Blue Sky)

    Of course there are some missing things : for their 39 birthday i was expecting some more surprises, specially on the e-stage (just the classic Desire/Angel of harlem)...no Party Girl or other stuff...no "40" at the end too
