1. What a pic
  2. wtf who would decline to go on the stage, idiot!!!!!!!!!
  3. why anyone would decline LOL
  4. Well.. Idiot is not the right word here. I guess not everyone likes to be in the spotlights or likes to dance. That doesn't make you an idiot
(Not that I would decline though)

I've thought about that recently. what if I had the (unlikely) chance to get on stage, would I really want that? part of me screams YES. I guess I'd be okay with dancing or filming, but I'd be terrified if bono, like, stuck the microphone into my face and wanted me to sing along. I love to sing, but not in front of thousands of people. haha idk the random thoughts you have late at night, I suppose.

in any case, that's an amazing picture!

I'm sure I would make a terrible fool out of myself, thinking I could (still) dance like a 20+ flower...
(but I'll do it anyway... )
    - but, honestly, I'm not going to watch & listen to the 'i+e' rock show/concert from the point that
you got to get pulled on stage....

  7. I understand you all, but can't help disagreeing. I have been pulled onstage by some artists (smaller than U2 of course, but sometimes playing to similar audiences, around 10.000) and it's a lovely experience, you can feel the excitement from the rest of your fellow fans and you don't think "I might make a fool of myself" - you just live the moment and get lost on it. Maybe because I'm a singer and musician myself, but being on stage with U2 would be the best moment of my entire life and I would make the most of it, no doubt. I can't even think of declining.
  8. honestly, if the moment came and bono would point at me to come up, my brain would just shut down and I'd do it, whatever "second thoughts" I might be having about it in the security of my home

The fact that you're a singer yourself makes you a little biased on this topic

If Bono tried to pull me up on the stage I'm not sure that I would do it, and probably if I do it it would be more because I wouldn't be sure what would make me feel more "embarrasing": going upstage in front of everybody or declining the offer in front of everybody
(and that's just because it's U2 what we're talking about in here, no chance I would even consider it in any other case )
