This makes me want to read Northside Story. I started a while back but I couldn't get into it. It was when I was "mad" at the band for not having released the album circa the release of Invisible.
A little off topic here but I can really see why they released that as the fan club gift this year. It really fits into where their heads were upon recording the album.
Don't know what to think of this yet. Rhythm and guitar are quite good, lyrics not imo. And where does the "a heart that is broken is a heart that is open" suddenly comes from in the end ?
If the door is open it isn't theft
You can't return to where you've never left
Blossoms falling from a tree they cover you and cover me
Symbols clashing, bibles smashing
Paint the world you need to see
Sometimes fear is the only place we can call home
Cedarwood Road
Marvellous ! And the riff. It just takes you there. I can't believe how beautiful this song is.
