1. I'm pretty sure everybody on Earth is overreacting to that statement. They had a 'hiatus' between Echoes and Wasting Light and nobody thought they were broken up. I seriously think this is just Dave saying "we've been touring for forever, and you've seen our faces for a year and a half straight- get ready to not see them anymore."

He mentioned something at Music Midtown Fest about not playing for a long time because they "had another album to write". They aren't done, and even if they were- hell of an album/tour to go out on.

    But they're not. C'mon.
  2. shared thinking
  3. Dave on drums for the next album of Queens of the Stone Age.
the announcement has been made by Josh Homme on BBC radio at Zane Lowe.

very nice news also because of the great result of the other collaboration they had
  4. Dave won't tour with the Queens .. so has he changed his mind about Foos? no he seems to think of Them Crooked Vulture

  5. Members of Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana, Foo Fighters for Dave Grohl's Sound City supergroup Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear will all play a concert at Sundance next week

  6. That will be nice!
  7. happy brithday to Dave who turns 44 .. nice age hehe

  8. hehehe
  9. The Foos frontman and former drummer in Nirvana gets to grips with everything on his mind, which includes superstar collaborations with Paul McCartney, his work on the Sound City Players project, terrible TV talent show competitions, the prospect of reforming Nirvana with PJ Harvey singing Kurt's vocals and the indefinite future of Foo Fighters. Unmissable.

please Dave have a rest and stop thinking for a while!!!
  10. the prospect of reforming Nirvana with PJ Harvey singing Kurt's vocals

    uh ho
  11. Makes me sick that someone would even think of that
