SOS- Different instruments, and rewritten lyrics. Not exactly a.typical compilation...
Also, there was u218/u2 by u2 book, songs like Ahimsa, Your song saved my life tonight.
They were on tour in 2017/18/19. And there is Sphere dates and SOS to talk about while we wait.

I think the main problem with this is that those bands tour just to play shows. They'll play shows not for an anniversary of an album or to promote an album, but just to be out there and play. U2 don't do that. If U2 were touring sometime in the past 2 years, the fact we haven't got a new album in nearly 6 years would be much easier to handle.

This used to be true until the Joshua Tree 2017. Now we have the Sphere. I don’t count SOS as a “new song” release since so many songs on it are just acoustic versions. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do an ATYCLB anniversary tour next.
  5. just the same interview every few years. when this stuff get's released it will be something like 'we went back to why we wanted to be in a band' 'inspired by punk rock', etc etc

nevertheless excited to hear new material, I'm a fool
  6. Would they revisit AB if a London sphere opens?
