  4. Wtf... Z O O T V T O U R of course!!!!!!
  5. JT-tour and ZooTV are the best in their own corner.

JT shows the old band at it´s peak. The album is high end, the tour was well rehearsed and the shows had many (!) differences. The band played very strong. Stage and Light were extremly simple but it worked live.
But what makes JT outstanding is the intense and deep atmosphere which i never found again in that way on later tours. You must have been there to understand that point as all bootlegs or DVDs do not show the whole thing.

ZooTV/Zooropa is the peak of the new U2. They were the same musicians but reinvented everything around them. It was funny, crap, wonderful and strong and so on.

Both were so brilliant in their own way that it might not be possible to reach that level again also PopMart, Elevation and Vertigo had really great Rock-shows.

I have to agree. I only posted in this thread to critic to PoPMart, but I didn't say my favorite at all.

My favorite has to ba a mix between the Zoo TV tour, the Joshua Tour, the Unforgettable Tour and the Lovetown Tour. What a great tours, in the top.The mix goes so:
    Zoo TV: 35%
    Lovetown: 25%
    Joshua: 20%
    Unforgettable: 10%
The rest of the percentage (10% ) is distributed among War, Vertigo and Elevation Tour.

That would be the perfect tour, a "Best Of Bests". Awesome.
  10. 1. Uf- unique in every sense of the word
    2. War-made them untouchable live
    3. Boy- what a start
    4. Lovetown-band with a history
    5. JT-stadium band
    6.October-setting the tone
    7.Zoo-times were a changing
    8.Pop-Zoo pt2

    elevation-album was better than tour
vertigo-will probably go down as the weakest of the lot IMHO
  11. We have alot of diferent opinions here (of course)...I was thinking how the Joshua Tree Tour would be with the elevation stage and lights...

Definitively I would say ZOOTV !!
    ELEVATION
    LOVETOWN
    VERTIGO
    WAR
    POPMART
    JOSHUA TREE

    In that order...
    cheers!!
