  1. Hope to see them as a digital or blu ray release, its the same as U2 3D or JoshuaTree Tour Film in Mexico

  5. They had given distribution rights to a film distribution company for a 2020 theatre premiere. When the rights revert back to them I’m sure they will do something with it. Maybe for the 40th anniversary.
  6. It takes 5 to 7 years for the rights to revert? Are they still obligated to play the movie in theaters? Interested to find out if Covid impacted the whole thing?

    Plenty of 2020/21 cinema releases made their way to streaming and release through other mediums pretty quickly. Not sure why U2 would have different rules?

    Exactly something not adding up with this one, the Band probably spent millions making this hiring the best film crew in the industry and using state of the art 4k Camera's etc to film it ,they could easily have sold it to one of the big streaming services or released it on Blu ray/DVD/CD hopefully it's not confined to the vaults like so many other projects that they didn't think worthy of public consumption.
