    I too prefer Bad as a song to All I Want Is You, but I just love that transition on the Slane DVD. There's just so much damn emotion coming out of Bono as he's finishing All I Want and starting Streets (probably coming from the fact that he buried his father that day (or was it the day before?)). Amazing.
    Bono said in an interview that during the transition from AIWIY - Streets it felt like he was sending his father to heaven, so thats why it sounds so emotional

  7. For the upcoming tour, I really, really want to see 2 things:

    1) a BRAND NEW SONG (from Songs of Experience) to open the show
    2) This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now (or Crystal Ballroom) to open the encore.

    I think with the tour being a celebration of the Joshua Tree, simply adding those two things to the set lists could keep the shows from slipping too far into nostalgia territory.
