1. Hi there,
I've been searching high and low for a clear soundboard MP3 version of the live intro of the Zoo TV Tour (without any audience noise) . Can anyone assist ??

    Thank you
    Mark
  2. Which intro? Zoo Station or the bits before it?
  3. Also, from which leg?
  4. Do you mean this intro that was played over the PA?
  5. I think he must be looking for the Zoo mix over Beethoven's 9th Symphony, featuring Nazi drummers et al.
  6. Adelaide and Basel are probably the cleanest versions, because Sydney & Dublin crowds were fucking loud:

  7. This could be few different things.

    George Bush Rap
    Television Drug of Nation
    The Drum/fanfare music
  8. Can't listen to this without that whiring Zoo TV sound coming in next before I could have lost you, George bush or the trumpet sound.
  9. For the first 2 legs...

    Leg 1 - North America 1992
'I Could've Lost You' (Sean Nos) (Bono)

    Leg 2 - Europe 1992
'I Could've Lost You' (Sean Nos) (Bono)

    and then...

Leg 3 - North America 1992 'Outside Broadcast Tour'
    1. 'Television, The Drug Of The Nation' (Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy
    2. 'We Will Rock You' (George Bush Rap) (EBN) (aka Emergency Broadcast Network)

Think the Adelaide video LikeAsong posted is probably the best one out there for Legs 4 and 5.

    Leg 4 - Europe 1993 'Zooropa'
    1. 'Television, The Drug Of The Nation' (Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy
    2. 'Triumph Of The Will / Ode To Joy' montage (EBN)

    Leg 5 - Zoomerang / New Zooland / Japan
    1. 'Television, The Drug Of The Nation' (Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy
    2. 'Triumph Of The Will / Ode To Joy' montage (EBN)
  10. Hi guys,
Thank you so much for your replies. It is indeed the European leg version featuring Ode to Joy .( Leg 4 - Europe 1993 'Zooropa'
. 'Triumph Of The Will / Ode To Joy' montage (EBN) )
I've been after a version high quality version of the full intro without any audio from the audience. i/e direct from the mixing desk or a studio mix of it.. I;m immensely grateful for all your help here as I've been looking for this everywhere. Thank you. Keeping my fingers crossed!
  11. I don't think a pure studio mix exists other than on U2 mgmt archives - which we don't have access to yet, sadly. The Adelaide video I posted is your best bet in my opinion. Try our proper 1993 Adelaide bootleg and judge for yourself if the sound quality is enough for you - I'm afraid you won't find a clearer version.
  12. There are also some very good audience recordings out there that have minimal audience, such as Stuttgart '93.
