2024-03-02 - Las Vegas
Tour: U2:UV Achtung Baby at the Sphere
Songs played: 24
Audio recordings: 5
  1. Audio is currently being broadcast at 256kbps.

Edit: The show audio is too...
  2. They still have the misplaced JFK speech. lol

Edit: All I Want Is You blip is present too.
  3. I think it's a less compressed... But I admittedly haven't really listened through my rip(s) more than once.

The on-demand U2.com stream quality might differ too.
    Nope! Appears to be identical.
  4. Finally got a chance to listen to it yesterday and sounds great as always. Thanks for sharing with everyone!
  5. Always will be!

Seriously though, a month and a half later, and it's practically the same broadcast.
  6. Why can't U2 just hire Hoserama to do the official mixes?
(oh wait....then it won't be allow it to be shared here)
  7. I remember those iconic FM live broadcasts like Dublin 1/1/90 (listened to it live on radio), Dublin 28/8/93, just to name a few.
All long before the digital era.
Both more then thirty years old!!!
    Again, 30!!!!
All in superb and breathtaking sound!!

And now in a digital era (+30 years on) this iconic group lets radio stations broadcast their latest epic live sphere registration in such a compressed, terrible quality sound?
It's an absolute disgrace to the group and also to the Sphere that boasted how crystal clear their sound was in there.
This is not the representation we were expecting.
It's almost comparable to original U2 live sound quality of the early 80's!

Luckily there is the iconic Hoserama; his work is truly exceptional!!!
So delete all broadcast versions you got, just get his version.
This is the one you need, this is the best one in every way!!
Thank you, once again, for this, Hoserama!!
    YOU ARE A LEGEND!!
  8. Had a blast listening to the broadcast last night. I'm not an audiophile and thought the sound quality listening through airpods was pretty great, or at least completely satisfactory to an amateur ear such as mine.

The interview though... What a mess! Pretty awkward vibes, band members struggling to come up with a coherent answer, or just Bono recycling the same old stories disregarding what the question is actually about. It seems like more and more of a rarity for them to talk to a truly great interviewer who will cut through their salesman mode. It's a shame that Maron's rumored WTF interview with Bono never actually came to pass.

It’s sounds really nice but at some points it would be nice if the 2 versions could mixed together for instance the intro of the lemon mix is in the background and then the broadcast upfront so it would be nice to mixed this to a last mix also look at the president speech is up front in his recording but in distance on broadcast
  10. IEM-Broadcast mix 🤔 hmmm wouldn't be bad.
