The best holiday I've ever been on was to Berlin in October 2010; my avi is made up of pictures from it (Achtung Baby style). I made a sort of pilgrimage to Zoo Station, bought a U2 calendar and nearly cried with joy when I got to sit in a trabant! But the highlight was walking back to the youth hostel we were staying at late one night when I randomly started singing I Will Follow, Sweetest Thing... and my ramblings evolved into an almost full performance of U2 songs! Since I'm normally very quiet people were wondering if I was OK, whether my lemonade had been spiked…; I put it down to the power of U2! That whole holiday was touched with magic, and the experience cemented in me, a love of U2 that will never fade... :-) Five years later, I finally saw them live for the first time in London, and the following month I flew to Dublin for my first GA experience, second row by the e stage! Within two years I was back in the second row by the Joshua Tree, facing Bono as he sang my favourite song, and on 4th September 2018 I met Adam prior to my fourth U2 show, this time in the country I had the best holiday I've ever been on! The most recent show so far required a mad dash from Glasgow to London, where I sat across from where I'd been for my first ever show, reminiscing about how much had happened in those three years…
