1. This was a pretty meh song. Like someone said it sounds like a c-side to a b-side. Even the mix sounds rough
I guess it's nice for them to try to do some kinda tribute to their indian fans, but this song just falls in the same category as most of their other collaborations / charity songs like the Ballad of Ronnie Drew and Stranded.
We won't ever hear of it after the Mumbai show, so I guess that's ok
  2. They might play it tomorrow.
  3. This does nothing for me at all but for those that like it enjoy.

  4. That’d be just fine. Even though I can’t say it does much for me, that would be a special moment for those in attendance and a sensible thing to do with a song that is so clearly meant to connect with that show.
  5. Hope this is not the direction u2 is going.. Or Songs of ascent is an album full of non violence adoration complete with sing alongs. After SoE i’m afraid of the direction U2 is going
  6. There has been a lot of talk about this song. Probably too much talk. This is not a SoA song. This is Ahimsa.

Don’t be afraid... it’s a one off song for a one off gig. Embrace it, new track. Don’t over think it, I very much doubt this is an indication of the next album.
  8. I can't believe this download today.

I can't close my eyes and make it go away.
  9. It’s OK. Someone earlier said that it sounds like something that would play at the end credits of a movie and they hit the nail on the head.
