1. Indeed.

  2. Could anyone please repost it?! Or send me an PM?! :-)
What a great Performance from a rehearsal

  3. Gotcha! Thanks!
  4. Hi everyone, is there any way I can recover this recording? unfortunately the posted links no longer work, thank you all!
  5. This is fun to listen to. Keith sounds great, but you can hear he doesn't have the "groove" in his head like Larry has in some way. He's on point, but sounds too clean in some way?

And kind of amazing that he could just step in and knew all the drum parts, but guess that's part of the job
  7. He was 100% looking at tabs.

Larry isn't a complex drummer anyway...
  8. Agree with the first one, not sure about the "not complex" though. Larry's self-taught and because of that has unique timing solutions. You can clearly hear the skill of this guy but he doesn't time like Larry does..

    You a drummer yourself?
  9. I think Larry’s incredibly complex. Mainly because he doesn’t play ordinary parts for songs that would be expected. It’s not hi hat - kick drum - snare drum - crash like most rock songs. There’s nothing easy or typical about Sunday’s Bloody Sunday, Bad, Streets, with or without you, One, ultraviolet.. hell even The Best Thing About Me is a tricky and unorthodox part. Larry is a very tough drummer to emulate correctly
  10. anyone heard who this Keith guy was?

To do that well on short notice, I cant believe it's just some hired gun. And yet, I've never heard the name Keith as a guy within U2's camp.

I'm not a drummer, but from listening he's got some unique signatures that might be hard to replicate well. Suddenly remember that great segment with Ringo and Dave Stewart where Ringo tries to explain he's playing "sideways" because he's left left-handed
