1. Regarding soundchecks, I'm not sure how indexing them would work, but I am not in love with torrents (Remy knows that, i tried uploading one and failed [sorry about that btw]), and I know they are tricky to maintain (e.g. unknown dates, fake compilations, etc.) but potentially a list could be created that could be maintained by a group.

For example, each era (Zoo TV, POPmart, 360, etc.) is listed as a subtopic for soundchecks in the "Shows" tab. Any known information is entered (Location, corresponding show, setlist, band or techs) for a particular soundcheck.

Then, users with a good reputation/some type of credibility can edit the information, which could also be checked by a moderator and approved (which would take care of U2gigs not tracking them).

Soundchecks are pretty sought after and torrents are not reliable (one took nearly a week and was only 15 tracks, not even lossless), and links in posts die.

If this is too time-consuming that's fine, but if it's alright I might (if I don't lose my current conviction) mess around with a test system of my own and see what people think, just for fun.

I'm looking for a button that open up all the topics where there's been activity in new tabs... So that if there are new posts in say fifteen topics, you can just click a button and get fifteen tabs in your browser with those topics.
Not sure if its technically feasible, usually sites are not allowed to open many windows on a users computer.

The system is not the problem, its the maintenance. If you would be happy to maintain it we would be happy to put efforts into it

Hmmm, that could be interesting, I'll think about that. How so would I do that? Send a PM if that's better, I'm interested

I was guessing that could be a problem. It'd be a nice feature though Of course, it's not good if it pisses of the browsers. I'd gladly check some boxes to give U2start the priviligies though
  7. Hey Remy, when should I PM you now that you are back from the Paris shows?
  8. These are my first minutes at my computer since Friday, so lets push this to the new year. I need some time to restart & reboot myself these weeks In the new year we'll be resuming our development efforts again big-time, so let's talk then

That sounds like a plan to me, hope Paris was great we can talk when you're free to go
  10. Can you make it possible to receive an email when someone replied to you on a thread?
  11. Hey, I've got a suggestion for the staff. It would be cool if there was a delete sent messages button, just like there is with messages in your inbox. Just something to think about. Have a great weekend and keep up the good work guys!
