1. Still relying on other sources for my music fix in the midst of this extended period of U2 silence. This young fella is doing it on his own. Runner up on Australian idol a few years back I think. Very luckily didn't win it. Put simply, he has the best vocals of any fella I've heard. From falsettos to wailing blues and his live ability is unreal. I've left a selection of his stuff below. I'm sure you'll love him.

Brother is his biggest and most well song. See Runaway though to see how much he pours into every song. That performance is in someones back garden. Amazing.

  2. He has an awesome voice
  3. Awesome voice (most notable thing is the versatility, he can do a falsetto and a screamed groan in the same verse), awesome songs too. The interviewer in the 2nd video was genuinely amazed!!

Gerard, I think you would like Dry The River, similar style (a bit more folk-ish and less lonesome-songwriter) and amazing vocalist too.
  4. I shall get a look Sergio. Corby has only put out a few EP's so I shall be looking around for other artists too.
  5. A few Eps but from what I see he's been touring the UK already so he's pretty popular. We'll keep an eye on him just in case he comes around Belfast out of the blue He played Madrid last December so anything's possible.
  6. He played Belfast within the last year. I hadn't heard of him then though. Hopefully he's back.
  7. He seems to cover Black Keys' Lonely Boy on a regular basis. Amazing version too.

  8. On Call by KOL as well. A man of many talents. The Secret Garden shows are an awesome concept. Stopping off at fans houses in between tour gigs to play a few songs in their gardens. Brilliant
  9. Wow, I didn't know it was at fans houses How does he do that? Lottery or what?
  10. Usually puts a notice out via twitter or Facebook asking fans in a certain city to get in touch. See Runaway above. That was in London. Sets up a mic, amp and a few fairy lights. Looks brilliant.
  11. Just... wow.
  12. Indeed. Doing it right
