1. This song is a masterpiece.

    And whoever denies that, will encounter my eternal fight

    Oh, by the way, I've found this excellent U2mixer video, and it's amazing. Watch it:

  2. I'm keen to think that Dirty Day could have been their best song if they had developed a more intricate guitar work, probably including a solo.
  3. Dirty Day is awesome.
  4. I like it but it's a poor mans 'Exit'. Still it's better than 'New york' all 3 are pretty much the same song

    ?! Dirty Day is indeed a great song. But 'Exit' is NOTHING like 'New York'.
  6. One of the many reasons why Zooropa is an amazing album.

    I understand the comparisons with Exit and New York.

    But if you look at closing sequences this (+wanderer) is much closer to acrobat+LIB or Please+WUDM, or Surrender+"40".

    Exit is part of a trilogy (OTH->Exit->Mothers)
    NY->Grace, doesn't really work.

    The best comparison for me though is Elco->Shadows&TT, even if Elco is far more uptemp than any of the others.

  8. In the strict sense, yeah.
    But I'm also taking into account the videos (some of their best) the tour (their best) etc.

    Dirty Day live is brilliant:
  9. Still one of their best ever performances of any song, ever
