1. I want to know who uploaded the RDS Arena show from dublin on august 28, 1993. i have a question regarding the bootleg. is there anyway i could find out who uploaded it and message them?

    thanks alot everyone!
  2. A lot of us are pretty knowledgeable about it, you could just throw your question on here if its not too private?
  3. You mean on the show pages? Then our crew is 90% responsible for uploading the bootlegs, of which I also uploaded a lot. Though I don't know the details of that recording, if that isn't listed.
  4. I want to know if I can get that Dublin show as just one single MP3. Like all the songs combined into one long Mp3.

  5. You could just put all the songs together in Audacity to make it into one long MP3.

  6. thats exactly what I did, but when it segues from one track into another, it just doesnt sound right

  7. Truth of the matter is, anyone who is going to be able to help you with this is just going to do that exact same thing, but work on it harder and longer to get it to sound right. You can do slight overlaps and the like on Audacity, I believe (If not, try using Sony ACID- you can grab a free trial of it for 30 days, and import all the songs into one track, overlapping to your liking- I did this to make 1 track out of Dark Side of the Moon).

It really just takes a lot of time and a lot of patience

But yeah, the taper of the show would pretty much be the only one who could send you the single file, if he still had it, and if we even had any way of finding out who that was.
  8. Is there a reason you want that?

I can have a look for you

EDIT: shouldnt be so hard. If it sounds good if you play the songs after each other like in the playlist, it should sound fine as 1 big file as well.

There is one reason I want this but it's a long story. When I get other bootlegs (from U2 concert DVDs), I have a program the rips all audio off the DVD into one long MP3 file of the whole show. Then I take the track into Audacity and split the tracks up to my liking. I however DO NOT like the way the Dublin 1993 show is split up, so thats why I want one long MP3 so I could split up the tracks myself. The way I want to.

Hope you understand what I'm talking about
  10. Yeah, you want the mp3 or the flac?

    EDIT: uploading the mp3

  11. i dont care as long i can upload it into audacity
  12. Hmm FLAC would be better than.

You can better cut mp3s with a specialistic mp3 cutter, otherwise you will lose extra quality.

    For example using: http://mpesch3.de1.cc/mp3dc.html
