  4. A great show, and one of the first boots I ever bought... must have been in the very early nineties. A great show, and a great tour. So sad we lack excellent 5 stars full recordings of the UF tour. But this one comes very close.

    Indeed. Only Chicago 3-21 comes even closer than this... But this is a tremendous show. One of the first TUFs I had too

    Edinburgh is the best UF show IMO. And no, I genuinely think it's the best, not because I'm from and live there.

    What about Dortmund 11.21.84 ? Dortmund sounds amazing and the band were on fire IMHO.It is only 10 songs though.Montreal 03.27.85 and Nantes 10.24.84 are also great sounding boots from UF.I will download this show and check it out this weekend.Im sure it will be a good one

    Exactly, DOrtmund doens't count as it's not complete (Jujuman said "So sad we lack excellent 5 stars full recordings of the UF tour"). Nantes sounds too "metalic" or "empty" if that makes any sense, and Montreal has not the same energy as Chicago or Gothenburg

    Agreed.Nantes does have a tin/constant hiss to it.It is a shame that Dortmund is not complete,but the sound is fantastic on the 10 songs.Montreal sounds very good,I agree the "fire" maybe isnt there.But,listen to how clear the show is.Bit of hiss maybe,but the vocals are so clear.Not enough bass though.I think we both forgot to mention Bologna.What a great listen,and a great show.Adams bass very full.Not tin sounding.Bologna could rival Gothenburg as a top show for that leg maybe?Alot of great reviews for Bologna made me go for it.Bad is epic at the Bologna gig.I also agree with you,Chicago is a wonderful recording.More full that Montreal.I have Chicago on now.I forgot how great it sounds.Anyway,thanks for picking a show from this period of the band.I finally saw U2 on this tour(after missing War),and these shows bring back great memories.
