1. Report here small spelling or grammar mistakes you see on the website, every once in a while we'll check this topic out and make sure we get rid of them.

    Thanks in advance
  2. From the bootleg section:

"Welcome to our bootleg archive. We have the biggest openly available collection of U2 bootlegs on the internet. do not have to upload, pay or subscribe to anything in order to access our bootleg collection, simply create a free account and have over a thousand bootlegs at your fingertips. This is the true spirit of U2 fans so get registered and get downloading!"

It should say "you do not have to upload, pay or subscribe to anything in order to access our bootleg collenction" (it's obviously a slip off but still an error)

    Also, from the home section:

"On top of all these recordings we also have 65 lossless recordings available if you like."
It's not gramatically incorrect, but it doesn't quite fit IMO. I'd replace "if you like" with "if it interests you" or simply remove the last part of the sentence.

I know I've seen many more lingual/grammatical errors here at the site so I'll let you know when I find some more . Like you said though, they are all small.
  3. Noticed two more, identical errors. This time in the bootleg faq session:

two of the last questions contain the word "what" but the h is missing.
  4. Thanks, all corrected!
  5. Under "News Headlines" it currently reads:

"We cover the news of many international U2 websites including U2.com, the most popular headline the last two weeks was 'U2 unconcerned about YouTube furor' from atu2.com. "

    It should read:

"We cover the news of many international U2 websites including U2.com. The most popular headline in the last two weeks was 'U2 unconcerned about YouTube furor' from atu2.com. "

  7. No worries. On that subject though, are we going by US grammar or UK? i.e. grey vs. gray, colour vs. color etc.? Because my understanding says that it should say "furore" lol, but that's coming from the UK spelling that I know...

Well, I'm assuming we're going on UK. Because that's not a spelling error in America, but it would be in UK, so I just, ah you know where this is going lol...

Let's just wait for Remy to inform us. Can't believe someone hasn't asked that before...

Let me first say that I can't change the titles of the headlines atu2 uses

And no one has asked this before, I think I prefer the UK way since we use the English flag and name for the English language.

I will change the headline text in the footer, thanks folks! Appreciated.

Yeah, I appreciate that it's not necessarily a spelling mistake in your eyes lol, no worries . I have to say I'm surprised to hear no one's asked before, but that said, it's not the most important thing to get concerned about lol...

Huzzah, the old country defeats the great pretender! (God I sound like a complete Anglophile when I say that lol, pity that's not the case...)
  11. Just found one on the stastics page in misc. info

The average age of the U2start users is 28, only users who submitted their agae are included in this figure.
