1. Here we have the Point Depot 1989-12-31 original radio broadcast.

The reason I am adding it is not because it's not on a better server than Rapidshare, but because the existing version we have is 128Kbps only (a 97MB Joshua Tree / Lovetown show encoded at 128Kbps is usually that size thereabouts, if you've ever noticed). This one is 192Kbps, and therefore 40MB bigger.

    1. Auld Lang Syne (snippet) / Where The Streets Have No Name
    2. I Will Follow
    3. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For / Exodus (snippet)
    4. MLK
    5. One Tree Hill
    6. Gloria
    7. God Part II
    8. Desire
    9. All Along The Watchtower
    10. All I Want Is You (snippet) / Bad
    11. Van Diemen's Land
    12. Bullet The Blue Sky / 11 O'Clock Tick Tock (snippet) / Money, Money (snippet)
    13. Running To Stand Still / Dirty Old Town (snippet)
    14. The Times They Are A-Changin'
    15. New Year's Day
    16. Pride (In The Name Of Love)

    encore(s):
    17. Party Girl
    18. Angel Of Harlem
    19. When Love Comes To Town
    20. Love Rescue Me
    21. 40

I also have reason to believe that this is not the iTunes version released on The Complete U2, so it isn't official. The 1989 broadcast is slightly longer (maybe two seconds) more than the digital version, particularly in the first commentary track. Some interesting trivia: cassette covers were also given away for those taping the show. If you don't have those four shows including this one, you don't know what you're missing out on - U2 at their ultimate best. Enjoy!

Are you sure about that? Every so called soundboard version I came across so far turned out to be a broadcast...

The only thing better about it is a better bit rate - it hasn't been remastered or whatnot from the other broadcasts floating around.

I honestly don't remember. I've had it sitting for ages there and thought with all this upgrade stuff, I might as well chuck it in.

the upgrades refer to bootlegs that have been sourced and include lineage, so technically not an upgrade. The version I have comes from the HAPPY NEW YEAR source so i'll dig that out some day and upload it.
