1. Haha for real? you are not a plant are you? Like the whole elevation squad on I+E
  2. Well filmed in London o2 shown in selected iMax theaters really soon... and then digital release plus some fancy box sets preXmas I hope there will be standard Blu-ray edition too... from the trailer looks like a better version of Metallica 3D concert movie... some added acting sequences... with the Muse crazy show it might really work! Seen them in Cracow and Berlin last tour and had a blast both times

Reviews on Reddit are flaming the movie so badly :. _O-

    Spoiler (click to toggle)
"I'm home now so can actually articulate my thoughts outside of being pretty fucking disappointed I spent 4 hours in my car for a fucking slow and downpitched concert. Honestly I'm really shocked they would manage to have this happen at multiple cinemas. Something must have gone wrong, or they made this bizzare choice to make it longer."

"I’m honestly pretty disappointed. The story was, imo, hilariously bad, but I did expect this and would have enjoyed it if it wouldn’t have taken away a lot of the concert experience. I didn’t really feel the concert in this concert film, also because they sometimes cut “story” pictures directly into the songs or put strange visual effects over the live footage, which annoyed me a lot. Which kinda makes it even more of a shame that it wasn’t a “full” concert film imo. While the visuals of the story parts were great (especially the finale) and somewhat entertaining, I would ditch them to see the full concert in a heartbeat. It was an interesting experiment that just didn’t work out for me sadly."

"I will not be buying any edition if the music is as slowed down as it was during the cinema release. It sounds fucking awful."

Well there's my excitement for the movie jumping off the window
  4. Haha oh dear. I was looking forward to it but that is a wrecking review :p. Well I still want to see it for myself. But I have to say that the trailer did not get me
  5. Has anyone heard Matt's rendition of Bridge Over Trouble Water?

Along with Where The Streets Have No Name, Bridge Over Troubled Water is my favourite song of all time so I consider myself lucky to see Matt give both of them a go!

His version of Bridge and feels different enough from the original (the guitar intro is lovely) but he omitted some sections and sings the wrong lyric in the final section, which puzzles me.

Good vocals though, I had a feeling he would lower it by a half step but he does a fine job of the extended note at the end. I hope he and the rest of the band considers playing it live (preferably on the piano) at some point in the future

I liked it when I heard the teaser, and the full thing fulfilled my expectations. With this and Unintended it seems he's starting a series of acoustic numbers, maybe an indicator of things to come next? I'd gladly take a laid back album with a more acoustic/unplugged approach. I'm honestly tired of them trying to be loud while at the same time stay relevant/trendy and also accomodate new influences from pop and modern crapmusic. Give me a Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino type of album and I'll just take it gladly

That album I really don't like. I like their old stuff and AM album, but TBHC is not my cup of coffee.
As for Muse, last two albums it looks like they don't know if they want to sound heavy or as modern chart pop. And result is weird mix (sometimes even in one song both)

Exactly. TBH&C is not my cup of tea either but at least it was different. MUSE are torn between sounding heavy and loud, and sounding poppy and accessible. They've been doing that since The 2nd Law which is almost a decade ago! I'd much rather have a relaxed & completely sincere album with great songwriting and good melodies than another half-arsed, "look we're modern" album full of poppy crap.

Definitely agree... give us rock album and could be with some electronics, but stop trying to be modern at any cost...
  10. Happy birthday to my favorite (together with Black Holes) Muse album
