    Try this:

    phonezoo.com

It's legal because you use your own mp3s. You have to register though

  6. What make of phone is it? Most decent-end phones (usually LG, Samsung etc) have a USB cable included which you said you had and some software on a CD which you install - I got mine on a really tiny disc.

Then you can rip an MP3 using CDex from http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/

The other problem with buying ringtones is that they cost an arm and a leg (almost as much as a proper packaged and wrapped disc) and that they'll include Digital Rights Management, preventing you from legally doing much with that track (e.g. copying to CD, copying to your MP3 player, some even listening once or twice only!).

Windows Media Player is pretty good for it too as would be iTunes.http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/howto/rip_how_to.aspx

But go to Tools > Options and choose MP3 ripping FIRST!

Then install your phone software and plug in the phone by USB. It should ask to install some drivers from the disc which you do, or it might not. Then copy your MP3 over and you're ready to go. Read the manual if you need more help. Or if your phone has internet on it then buy the ringtone - don't get conned though!
  7. If your phone is Bluetooth enabled then you should be able to send an mp3 file over this way. You can then listen to it as a full song or assign it as a ringtone etc.
