    Notes:
Nice little treat for rehearsals before the kick-off of the 3rd Elevation leg. Occasional static but generally pretty listenable. Maybe one day I'll raid Gambler's closet and do a remix from the raw files.

As always, encouraging people to get into taping and mixing. Just take the craft seriously and it will reward you many times over. There's no point in complaining about missing recordings or subpar quality if you're not contributing--pushing 1's and 0's around on the internet is no comparison for taping.

    --

Please don't sell this recording in any way - no cash for blanks, 2:1s, or any other form of "getting paid for your time". Just share it freely.

Please don't convert to mp3, then back to wave, and then trade it around. This stuff is too easy to find on torrents now.

Feel free to remaster/remix this recording. Just keep it to your own computer and iPod.

    Enjoy y'all!

    Enjoy
  2. thank you Hoserama and BigGiRL
  3. The venue was called the Joyce Center? Wooow
  4. Let's not forget that WGO, before it was hastily rehased in a Spotify session in 2017 was recorded in NYC just before 9/11 and was a single with plenty of American Pop stars during that autumn.
  5. Molly Malone as a snippet during Bad at South Bend was beyond EPIC.
  6. Hopefully if they release South Bend or a third leg recording they won't remove this:

  7. I was at the South Bend show. The Joyce Center basically felt like a large high school gymnasium, with the Elevation stage barely fitting. The tip of the heart pretty much came to the far side of the floor. There weren't many GA fans, that's for sure. There were 11,000 fans at that show, which I find surprising.

My friend and I drove 5 hours from Ohio for the show, and then drove 5 hours back because we had to go to work the next morning. Ah, to be 19 again. I remember having a sore throat that was very distracting. I remember feeling like Bono in particular seemed to be going through the motions, and that I enjoyed this show much less than the 2 Elevation shows I saw on the 1st leg. The NYC fire department was the highlight, and I remember in general it just felt good to be at a concert post- 9/11. It was a healing experience. When I watch the video now, that "Molly Malone" snippet in bad is breathtaking, and I wish it lasted longer.
  8. I seem to remember Bono adding plenty of drama and pathos to that version.

I was there this past January and was shocked by just how small the venue was, literally smaller than my high school gym. Must’ve been truly magical
  10. This is great. Thank you!
