1. Hi. My computer recently crashed and i lost some songs. One was streets live which has been the best version of this song i have come ever across because bono sang/belted it out with anger. Does any1 know which version i am talking about? if not what bootleg would u recommend where the streets is played and sang with passion.

    Thanks
  2. i like the version fron london 5-31-92.. he talks all 80's for the first verse.
  3. Cheers!!! I'll check it out
  4. is it the one where he enters into a preacher voice that is uneathly when he says the line "trampled in dust"
    cus thats lovetown 1989-12-26,
thats an awsome concert all around, check out One Tree Hill, the band sounds more powerful than ever.
  5. Thanks I'll download that as well. yeh the version i have in mind is when he really shouts that line 'Trampled in dust' and it countinues with that shouty- energetic throughout the song.

I know this post is from 13 years ago and the IE tour didn't even exist by then but the Streets version you must have been looking for is 2015-07-02 - Chicago(5).
  8. Yeah that's always made me chuckle...

Basically he was parodying the Pet Shop Boys cover of Streets which was a parody itself, so Bono got his own back!

I heard an interesting story about Neil Tenant of PSB and Bono a few years back. I think Neil had been quite publically vocal of his disdain for Bono / U2 in general - we all know too well being so big they're an easy target. But they finally met at some party or other and I believe Bono well and truly won him round.

I'll upload it on youtube soon.
