We came across this Forty Foot man
A colossus on our tiny island
We nearly lost him up on Sandycove Strand
But, being swept away was part of his plan

And the monster’s not under the sea

It can take a stranger to see yourself
An outside eye can be of great help
He’s only one but he’ll pop it right out
He’s a caring, sharing cyclops
Of this there’s no doubt
