Performance

This is my review number 150... so I decided to wrote about this, one of my first shows downloaded here, so let's go!

St Patrick's Day, so band was excited, ready for a good show, and they did

Bono starts the fun in the first line of the first song... he change the line to "I'm ready... to shake that snake!!"... fits well with occasion, he messed up The Fly, but still good version... one of the best versions of Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses and best Dirty Old Town, with Larry, Edge and Bono (Edge and Bono doing in a very similar way) singing one verse each... Van Diemen's Land was played on Zoo, so this was the reason that this show was one of the first downloaded by me...

Second half is also strong... Good Van Diemen's Land into Bad, great Bullet The Blue Sky... and the show going ok until the end, and the encore contains a good With Or Without You with Edge's solo sounds like the start of Shine Like Stars closing with a great Love is Blindness

Probably a 3,25 stars
Recording: "In Boston on St Patricks Day" - 3.5 stars

Overall

Very good show... strong and relaxed at same time.. of course would to give 5 stars if the sound was better

Highlights: Zoo Station, Mysterious Ways, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses (excellent), Dirty Old Town (excellent), Van Diemen's Land (excellent with Edge introducing the song), Bullet The Blue Sky, Running To Stand Still, With Or Without You and Love is Blindness (excellent)
