Performance

Really, really fantastic. They're not nervous with the tour at all, it seems- just really exploring all the music and space and having a fantastic time. There's no shakiness- every performance is confident and inspired. "Until the End of the World" was particularly awesome, and also incredibly crowd-pleasing. Some of the loudest cheers of the whole show.

Sound

Wow...pretty bad. When I turned the boot on, I couldn't even tell that Zoo Station had started. It actually does shape up towards the end, and I sat through the entire thing, but it's a pretty bad-quality show. Cuts in and out randomly, at some really great parts which is disappointing. Just not a great recording- but still a great show.
Recording: Audience microphone - 2 stars

Audience

They're actually pretty great. They sing along, they go nuts when they should, and they're even entertaining. One of my favorite parts (and what will probably be the most memorable from the show) was, after Running to Stand Still, when Bono has his harmonica out, one of the audience members can clearly be heard yelling, "DESIRE. Desire. I'll bet he goes right into Desire.", and then proceeding to be (most likely) blown away by Streets

Overall

The sound really takes everything away from me for this one. If they'd broadcast it on the radio or something, it'd be one of their most talked about shows to date. That's whats hiding underneath the murky sound quality of this boot. Super fun, energetic, and spot-on performance from the guys on this early night of ZooTV.
